Vinhos Verdes in Canada

Canada, as a country consumer of European wines, consists in a great market for exportation of Vinho Verde. The "Comissão de Viticultura da Região dos Vinhos Verdes" seeks to follow the increasing trends of consumption of European wines. Therefore, two actions of degustation are organized and are going to take place in the 26th of July 2004 in Toronto and in the 28th of July of 2004 in Montreal.

With the purpose to a consolidation of contacts with opinion liders, sommeliers, importers, hotelkeepers, proprietors of restaurants and the media, a lunch will be offered followed with a degustation in Toronto at the Restaurant 1832, Distillery District and in Montreal at the Marché Bonsecour, in Old Montreal, Quebec.

To give additional force to these promotion actions, in order to stand out the Vinho Verde as a unique product in the world, there is going to occur simultaneously a press campaign, in journals and magazines of speciality.
